Just as everyone else looking for building inspectors, I too have come across many building inspectors with loads of fancy write-ups around the amount of details, use of gadgets, quality of reports et all which I know are a way of marketing their business. In this process, through a chance referral, I was given Michael’s contact and went ahead with him for a particular inspection of the property I was looking at. These are my true honest opinions. – Michael is a registered builder and this makes him qualified to put across a report that is inline with the REAL TRUE outcome needed of a building and pest inspection – His experience of more than 2 decades in this line means every minute detail in and around the house is covered extensively and to utmost quality. I have a 50 page report on an established house which I truly wasn’t expecting to such a detail. – His report is structured, easy to understand and interpret and anyone, even a layman like me can easily follow through the report with pointers covering each and every aspect with photographs to understand the defect and the recommendation there of. I could follow it in my first read through of the report. – The process of engaging him is so easy and the experience of his customer service is amazing and exceeds expectations. Amazing experience having Michael do a building inspection on my first home. He coordinated with the agent to find an inspection time in the short window I had without needing me to intervene. I got the report on the same day of the inspection and was very happy with the level of detail and all the pictures contained in it. He then gave me time to read the report and that evening I had a good 30 minute conversation with him over the phone about what was found in the report, and he took the time to explain everything in terms I understood. He also gave me practical advice about how to rectify the issues found with the property. I contacted Michael after reading good reviews of him on Google and he did not disappoint! I booked a pre-purchase building and pest inspection, which Michael tried his best to fit in within my 3 days cooling off period of signing the property contract. I received the report same day as the inspection. Michael was very thorough in his report and he went through it with me to explain the report and answer my questions. In the end I withdraw from the purchasing the property because Michael had uncover various major defects and I feel like I have dodged a bullet by doing this inspection! Definitely would recommend!
